Julie began her medical aesthetics career in 1999, when she and her husband opened Disappearing Act Laser & Skin Rejuvenation, a medical spa, in Redding, California. Since then, she has devoted her career exclusively to aesthetic medicine.

Julie received her Family Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP) from Sonoma State University in California, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Loyola University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) and a Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN). She is also a Public Health Nurse (PHN) and holds a certificate in Health Care Management (HCMT). Julie currently holds nursing licenses in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Nevada.

Julie has a special interest in teaching safe aesthetic injection techniques. She is a faculty member for PALETTE Resources, a speaker/trainer for the Allergan Medical Institute, and a member of Allergan's Advisory Board. She is also a Scientific Sessions Planning Committee (SSPC) member for the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses (ISPAN) Annual Meeting and an Editorial Board member for Plastic Surgical Nursing. Julie has published articles in several medical journals and made presentations at various professional international meetings. She also provides individual injection training workshops through her company, JBK Aesthetics.

Glenn Vallecillos, MD, FACS, is a Diplomate and an elected member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in private practice in Beverly Hills, California.

Haley Wood is a board-certified women’s health nurse practitioner and certified aesthetic nurse specialist. With over seventeen years’ experience as a nurse practitioner and over thirteen years’ experience as an aesthetic injector, Haley offers her patients a unique combination of experience, knowledge and personal attention. She currently owns her own aesthetic practice, The Look Facial Aesthetics, in Franklin, Tennessee.

Haley graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Evansville, Indiana, followed by training in trauma intensive care nursing at the University of Kentucky, in Lexington, Kentucky. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Haley is a national trainer and speaker for Allergan and Galderma, a member of advisory boards for Allergan, Galderma, and Revance Therapeutics, and expert faculty for PALETTE Resources. Having trained over four thousand health care providers over her career, she serves as a national resource to new and experienced injectors. In addition, she has served as educator and trainer for new hires for Allergan. One of her greatest accomplishments was serving on six occasions as lead faculty for Allergan Medical Institute meetings, where she led and trained national trainers in the correct methods of aesthetic injecting.

Haley is a member of the International Society of Plastic and Aesthetic Nurses, and has served as a board member, program chair, and newsletter editor for that organization. She also created the first Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) review course and study guide as a resource to help eligible nurses become certified in aesthetic nursing.

She has also written an eBook, 50 Things You Need to be a Great Aesthetic Nurse, which serves as an introduction to nurses who are interested in the aesthetics field. Steve Yoelin, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist based in Orange County, California, with over 22 years of experience in minimally invasive medical aesthetics, such as techniques using dermal fillers, collagen stimulators, and neurotoxins, as well as fat reduction procedures. He serves as a strategic advisor to companies ranging in size from innovative early-stage startups to multibillion-dollar industry leaders.
